Live Music From Colorado's Dark Sky Country

Different rooms want different things. A gallery opening and a Friday night taproom are not the same gig, so I don't bring them the same set. Each project below is its own act with its own repertoire — bookable on its own, and scalable from solo to a full lineup depending on your space and budget.

Dark Sky Ensemble

Ambient • Cinematic

Textural layers of guitar and effects built live, stretching out like the space between stars. Fills a room without competing with conversation — the set that works for galleries, tasting rooms, and long slow evenings.

Solo  •  Duo with violin (Wendi Westman)

The Fusionistas

Funk • Fusion

Groove-forward guitar with room to stretch — funk pockets, fusion heads, and improvisation that keeps a room moving. Built for taprooms, patios, festivals, and anywhere the night is meant to pick up rather than wind down.

Solo  •  Duo with drums (Brent Taylor)  •  Trio with bass

Safety Dance Ballet

80s • New Wave

Chorus-soaked guitar, wide synth pads, and a drum machine that never quite lets go of the downbeat. The songs everyone still knows every word to, played live rather than triggered from a laptop — for weddings, receptions, and parties.

Solo  •  Duo with violin (Wendi Westman)

Collaborators

Some nights call for more than one player. These are the musicians I work with regularly — the same people every time, so a duo or trio booking sounds like a band rather than a pickup gig.

Booking

Unlike a playlist, you get a live performer reading the room and shaping the music to fit the moment. Tell me the room, the crowd, and the night you have in mind, and I'll tell you which project fits it.
