Some nights call for more than one player. These are the musicians I work with regularly — the same people every time, so a duo or trio booking arrives sounding like a band rather than a pickup gig.
Violin
Wendi plays violin on two projects. With the Dark Sky Ensemble she carries melody over the live-looped guitar beds, turning the ambient wash into something closer to a film score; with Safety Dance Ballet she takes the top line over synths and chorused guitar.
Drums
Brent plays drums with The Fusionistas, in both the duo and the full trio. A real kit opens up what the groove can do — the pocket breathes and the dynamics go places looping alone can't follow.
